President
As President and owner behind Event Highlights, Amy Spaulding’s unparalleled commitment to event experiences that WOW is what separates her from the pack. With more than 24 years of experience in the event industry, Amy has made a reputation as a professional, creative, and driven event planner with specific attention to customer service.
Prior to forming, Event Highlights, Amy planned pharmaceutical events for Amgen and managed corporate events at financial powerhouses, Countrywide Financial and Bank of America. She earned the Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation in 2006 and continues to maintain this honor via active participation in organizations such as Alliance of Independent Meeting Professionals, Meeting Professionals International (MPI) and continuous education.
In addition to winning two Special Event GALA awards with long time partner, Extraordinary Events, Amy was a finalist for Corporate Event Planner of the Year in 2009 (Spotlight Award - Event Solutions).
Amy is known for her extensive knowledge of excellent restaurants in the U.S. and beyond. With a keen taste for exceptional food and wine, she will be sure the food and beverage at your event won’t disappoint!
Amy is a graduate of Loyola Marymount University and lives with her husband and daughter in Thousand Oaks, California (West of Los Angeles.) Amy is a foodie that loves to travel and is an avid soccer "football" fan (Liverpool FC especially), former player and coach!
